Dieses Buch enthält dreizehn neue persönliche Erkundungen der Cthulhu-Mythos. Wie der Titel andeutet, ist dies ein Begleitband zu Edward P. Berglund 's früher klassischen Mythos Sammlung, die Jünger von Cthulhu. Beide Bücher sind von Chaosium veröffentlicht, aber deren Inhalte sind völlig unterschiedlich. Zwölf der Geschichten in Disciples II sind original und noch nie zuvor veröffentlicht. Alle Geschichten aufzeichnen die schlimmen Schicksale von Menschen, deren Schicksale verflechten sich mit dem Mythos.
