Die Erweiterung besteht aus 60 Spielkarten mit 20 neuen nur in diesem Karten-Set enthaltenen Motiven.

Die Kartenmotive von The Horror Beneath the Surface wurden auf Basis von Lovecrafts finsteren Cthulhu-Mythos erstellt und erhöhen die Vielfalt und den Schrecken deines Call of Cthulhu Kartensets.

The Horror Beneath the Surface ist eine Erweiterung und kann nur zusammen mit dem Basisspiel Call of Cthulhu gespielt werden.
